Learning Pathways

The Learning Hub offers structured learning pathways designed to support international doctors transitioning into clinical practice in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Each pathway brings together a series of short modules that introduce key aspects of living and working in New Zealand. The learning is organised to reflect the experience many doctors have when relocating and beginning practice in a new healthcare system.
The pathways explore topics such as:
  • Living and settling in New Zealand
  • Understanding how the New Zealand health system operates
  • Clinical frameworks and professional expectations in practice
  • The cultural context of healthcare in Aotearoa

Modules are designed to be concise and practical, allowing doctors to build understanding gradually as they prepare for practice and settle into their new environment.
Learning pathways are typically accessed through enrolment by an employer or through Good Together as part of a doctor’s transition into practice.
